Hamza Alaa, Al Ahly’s goalkeeper, expressed his thoughts on being part of the team’s squad  in the FIFA Club World Cup for the second consecutive season.

In an exclusive interview with us, Alaa talked about our upcoming game against C.F. Monterrey of Mexico and revealed his ambitions going into the FIFA Club World Cup.

"Our match against Monterrey will be very difficult, but we are ready and we are keen to achieve the victory."

"Our participation in the tournament came as a result of our hard work in winning 

the CAF Champions League title. All the players are keen to put on a great performance and accomplish a new achievement that meets the high expectations of the club and the fans." 

"We have a great team spirit, and I wish all the best to my teammate Ali Lotfy during the competition."

Alaa concluded his interview by saying that he was very happy to make his debut with Al-Ahly in the EPL Cup, adding that he will never forget that day and that he hopes to continue living up to everyone’s expectations.
